The Ashtanga Primary Series is a set sequence of postures designed to bring strength, flexibility, and endurance to the body. It is designed to purify the body through the breath and the movement to invoke a stillness of the mind.

This 2 hour class will be the full primary series of the ashtanga system, led by Krista Block. This flowing, set-sequence of postures utilizes ujjayi breath and bandhas (energy locks) to increase muscular strength, flexibility, concentration and to deepen one's connection to Self.

This offering is appropriate for anyone who has the desire to learn yoga and for the experienced yogi alike.
