Vinyasa Flow - All Levels - 85 degrees

A dynamic system of practicing asana, linking breath to movement. Builds heat, endurance, flexibility, strength and concentration. Sequencing is often built around sun salutations. Depending on the teacher, the class may vary slightly based on their educational and teaching backgrounds. Therefore, we encourage you to try them all, as you’ll experience something unique with each and every one of our amazing team!

Vinyasa Flow - Level 1 || 80 degrees

This class is designed for beginners to any form of yoga, but can be equally beneficial to those who want to review the foundation of poses. You will be taught working with the breath and the basic postures as well as linking them together in flowing sequences, built around sun salutations.

Candlelight Vinyasa Flow || 85 degrees

A slightly sweeter flow, that takes place in a warmed room lit by candles, creating the perfect ambiance for winding down for the evening, and perfectly paired with a soundtrack to match the mood.  Class will begin with an active warm up, generally built around sun salutations, gradually moving into gentler movements, welcoming soft openings and mind-body awareness. Expect a nice cool down, both physically and mentally, to end the practice before you reach your final resting pose. All levels welcome!  

 


Slow Burn || 85-90 degrees

This vinyasa-based class works towards not only reaching our edge, but surpassing it.  Beneficial for building strength, stability and postural integrity, Slow Burn features power poses, both standing and balancing postures, held for several breath cycles allowing you to challenge your body and mind.  

You will build heat and muscular endurance, as well as self-centering energy, allowing you to turn off and tune in.  Although we aren't flowing as fast, please come prepared to sweat, work, breathe and finally to restore.

Hot Power Vinyasa || 95+ degrees

This invigorating flow class is perfect for those who want a more athletic and cardiovascular practice.  Build internal heat with your breath and movement through sequences generally based around sun salutations.

Come prepared to explore your body and take on new challenges with invitations to experiment with various arm balances, inversions, twists, backbends, hip openers and more.  Explore your edges as you build core strength, tone, balance and detoxify your body all the while freeing your mind through the rhythm of your breath.  Expect to sweat, play, and have a lot of fun! 

Modifications are always given however if you are newer to yoga, we suggest taking several Level 1 and All-Levels classes prior to this class.  


Align & Refine || non-heated, 75/80 degrees

This class is designed for people who are looking to better understand how their body “operates” from the inside out, to aide in a safe and healthy yoga practice.  It is built around sun salutations moving in a slower more mindful pace.  All ages and levels welcome.  This is a non-heated class, appropriate for all levels, but a great option for beginners, those with long standing aches/pains or those wanting to commandeer a more relaxed and aligned system.

Yoga Basics || non-heated, 75-80 degrees

This class focuses on the basic foundation of each posture.  Open to all ages and levels of experience, but is specifically geared for beginner students or those whose mobility, balance, flexibility, and strength limitations require a more careful class. The pace is slower and offers a range of modifications, including use of props, to establish stability and access to the poses, while ensuring safety of the student.

No prior yoga experience required for this class.  Non-heated.


Vin to Yin || 85 degrees

This fusion of Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga offers movement to improve strength and balance while staying connected with ones breath. Move from a state of doing to being, finding the perfect balance by working all your muscle groups to then move deeper to break through any sticking points. Perfect for sports enthusiasts or anyone wanting to get the benefit of extra range of movement from this uniquely sequenced session. Expect to leave class energized and ready for the weekend!

Candlelight Yin || 80

A mellow calming class that takes place in a room lit by candles, creating the perfect ambiance for winding down on a Sunday night.   Move from a state of doing to being.  Yin Yoga is a quiet and simple practice, but not necessarily an easy practice, as it works deeply into our body, targeting our deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues — ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body — rather than the muscles.   Poses are held for longer periods of time to gently open the body and rehabilitate the tissues.  

Perfect for beginners, advanced practitioners, sports enthusiasts or anyone wanting to get the benefit of extra range of movement from this uniquely sequenced session. Expect to leave class energized and ready for the week!


Kundalini Pure Power Hour || 85-90 degrees

Get your day started off right with Kundalini Yoga set to turn up your heat, burn away your stress and light up your joy!  Come get high on your own supply.  Kundalini yoga is an invigorating yoga style that incorporates pranayama (breathing techniques), chanting, postures and meditation to fine tune the energetic flow between the chakras and the aura.  This strengthens the body and facilitates a deeper awareness and connection to your full creative potential.  

No prior yoga experience necessary.

Yoga for Runners || 85-90 degrees

Yoga for Runners begins with a vinyasa flow that seamlessly links sun salutations with strength-building poses specific to runners'/athletes' bodies and ends with a relaxing, cooling flow aimed at releasing connective tissue and common tight areas in the body due to high level workouts, whether it be running, crossfit, climbing, etc.  This class is specifically designed to cross-train, improve flexibility, and alleviate pain you may experience during and after running or your high-intensity workouts.  

Heating panels will be set to 85-90 degrees  


Slow Flow || 80-85 degrees

This accessible class will be a centering and grounding experience, a true meditation in motion.  Based on sun salutations with a slightly sweeter slower pace (though still as challenging as you want to make it), allowing you to tune in and dive deep.

This class will occasionally feature live music and/or chanting.

Room temp will be set to 80-85 degrees.

Focus + Flow || 80-85 degrees

The asana practice will be strong and accessible to all levels via suggestions and modifications that allow for students to add challenge or ease to postures.  

Ease week we will tie the asana  and meditation together by exploring a piece of yoga philosophy that will apply to what we're doing on the mat and how we are living our lives in the world.  There will be time for questions and discussion.  Students are encouraged to bring their your mats and a journal. 

This class is donations based with a portion of the proceeds benefiting local cuases dear to us, including Refuge Recovery Charleston and Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center.
