Hometown:  Tulsa, OK is where I grew up and still call home, though San Francisco, CA will always have a very special place in my heart.

When I’m not teaching, you might find me:  listening to live music wherever I can find it, walking Bogard around downtown, or enjoying a nice glass of wine at Elliotborough Mini Bar.  But if it’s raining, I’m likely on my couch watching Game of Thrones.

My mantra:  "You can’t see tomorrow with yesterday’s eyes." - Ryan Adams

My “at bat” song:  "Love and Happiness" by Al Green or ANYTHING Ryan Adams.

In my class you can expect:  to experience a flow that is accessible yet challenging to any age, gender, or level of experience.  You might find yourself holding poses just a bit longer than you’re used to, hear and feel cues that are alignment based, all while laughing and listening to what is sure to be a really rad playlist.

Badass moment:  Saving two people’s lives with the Heimlich Maneuver, and no not at the same time…

Yoga myth:  Yoga is not for people with injuries or chronic pain.  These are actually two of the best reasons to practice yoga.  As long as the teacher is made aware of your conditions, they can offer appropriate modifications as well as keep a closer eye on you.  Yoga is healing! And there's a class for that!

Most influential mentor: Tie between Janet Stone and Mark Morford, my badass teachers from the west coast.  But if we’re talking outside of yoga, my folks are pretty rad!  Last but not least, a special shout out to Melissa Lenox for introducing me to the practice, not to mention recruiting me to the south and designing this amazing studio!

Party Pose:  Salamba Sirsasana – Headstand.  I’ve now put my head on the ground of 10 countries, and counting…

I dream:  of spending the day with Ryan Adams, listening to records, playing pinball, and braiding each others hair.
