In this unique and refreshingly modern 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training, you will deepen your understanding of alignment, sequencing, hands-on assisting, applied anatomy, yogic history and philosophy, the subtle energy body, practical teaching skills, and more.
Ji Hwang and Krista Block will be thoroughly covering alignment, assisting, and sequencing. Polly Christy, alongside Katie Ashley will be offering their amazing & extensive backgrounds and knowledge of yoga philosophy and history, meditation (+ more) and how it applies to the modern day practice. Meg Gray, a licensed physical therapy of 15 years, will be leading the functional anatomy and physiology portion of the training.
Other areas this training will cover will include: prenatal yoga, yin yoga, ayurveda, business and ethics in yoga + more!
You will learn from experienced and knowledgeable teachers and gain invaluable perspective on the modern and classical worlds of yoga.
Upon completion of the course, you will walk away with a deeper understanding of your own personal yoga practice. You will also gain the tools necessary to teach a safe and powerful vinyasa flow yoga class.

No formal experience is required to enroll in the 200-Hour Urban Yoga Tree Teacher Training program. However, we do recommend that you have had at least one year of regular practice prior to the start of the course. Participating in this training will be a profound experience, taking you to places in your body and mind that you never thought possible.
A flexible body free of injuries is NOT a requirement for this training. In fact, we encourage students with all body types and/or physical challenges to consider this program. Yoga is a practice of meeting the body where it is, and then working with the body to slowly and respectfully move deeper. The struggles and challenges you will face through the course of this training will only make you a better teacher.
